YEAH! i think that's genuinely one of the most fascinating things about him is that he struggles with being disingenuous! he just cannot do it! i know we've discussed this before but i do think it's why his fancafe letters stand out to us (not just because we love him LMAO) but because they really do carry a unique level of sincerity, because he just types exactly how he thinks/speaks and whenever he attempts to fluff it up it still just. reads like eric trying to be More than he is or something if that makes sense?? tl;dr: hes wonderful.
